Burr Oak Cove is a primitive road-accessible campground with water fountains and pit toilets. $15/night, Tent and RV (max 28 ft no hookups). Heavily wooded, clean and quiet. Walk-ins only.

Description

This connector to Lakeview Trail (white blazes) starts behind Burr Oak Cove tent sites 3-7. Note that the Burr Oak Cove indicated on the base map is incorrect. The camp is located 2/3 of a mile further. This connector joins the Lakeview Trail (yellow blazes) at extreme north of Burr Oak Lake.

Flora & Fauna

I encountered typical Ohio gray squirrels, chipmunks and white-tail deer. Almost exclusively hardwood forest except for small section of pine.
