Need to Know

Please see my notes about coming out at the lodge entrance when starting your run from the campground.

Runner Notes

Dry footing during the dry season. Duh. However, there are several seasonal runoffs and creeks you'll need to prepare to cross if it's been wet for awhile. Lots of clay on the surface.

Description

Starting from the campground entrance, there is a wide path for three abreast. It narrows to a singletrack as it descends towards the seasonal creek bed and then follows the shoreline. When you come out by the lodge entrance, you'll still be 0.25 miles away from the lodge entrance. You'll need to go left coming out to go to the lodge.

Flora & Fauna

Squirrels, deer, wildflowers, and trees of Ohio, as well as many birds.
