The trail is open 7 a.m. to sunset. The park is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Description
Begin at the Pueblo Bonito Trailhead. Turn right almost immediately to follow the trail marked for Chetro Ketl.
The path winds across the desert for nearly 0.25 miles before reaching the ruins of Chetro Ketl. It then passes through and around the ruin before passing by a few outlying kivas and returning to the main path. Turn right to return to the parking area.
