Need to Know
The Skylawn Memorial Park Ridge Trail
is open during regular business hours (approximately 7AM – 6PM). Docents are not required as long as you stay on the cemetery property.
In this remote open space, dedicated volunteers will lead you through dense forests and over hilly grasslands with extensive views of the entire Bay Area. This trip is a unique opportunity to experience the 23,000-acre watershed, a state Fish and Game Refuge and home to the highest concentration of rare, threatened, and endangered species in the Bay Area. The pristine property contains Crystal Springs, Pilarcitos, and San Andreas Reservoirs.
