Golden Gate National Recreation Area chronicles 200 years of history, from Native American culture, Spanish Empire frontier, California Gold Rush, the evolution of American coastal fortifications, and the growth of urban San Francisco. Comprised of 19 separate ecosystems and home to a multitude of different plant and animal species, the varied landscape has hundreds of ways to recreate including horseback riding, ranger-led programs, bicycling, hiking, and running.

Introduction to Mountain Biking Class - Level 1:
Mar 25 - Women's Only Class: Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, Palo Alto: Equestrian Lot
On easy terrain, our instructors teach basic mountain biking techniques including shifting, braking, ascending, descending and maneuvering around obstacles. Mountain bikes are available for use in the class. Recommended for ages 14 and older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Details
