There is no parking at the trailhead. There is a town ordinance banning parking on Lake View Ave. You can Park in the lots by the information booth. The two hour limit has been removed.

Description

This trail starts off Lake View Avenue and, in a short distance, crosses over a stream. It follows either orange blazes or SRKG markers. The Eagle's Nest Spur leaves from the right at the rock pile in the center of the trail. The trail ascends steeply until it reaches the ridgeline. It passes by a few small view spurs, and by Rim Trail (on the right). It traverses over South Peak, then ends at the Monadnock - Sunapee Greenway.
