Description

Leaving the parking lot, you take the Alum Hollow Trail to the marker showing the Ranger Trail on your left. It is a steep descent then levels off, and the trees are marked with blue ribbon until you meet the Three Sisters Loop; the Ranger Trail stays right and the tree ribbons will now be red. There are also plenty of actual tree markers with trail names on them along this well-marked trail.
