Although no markers are present from the Hwy 76 entrance, this trail provides an access point into Mark Twain National Forest. This non-descript gravel road is located along a turn in the highway that is easy to miss. Parking here is limited. The trail continues across the ridge through thick pine forest. The trail quickly drops down into the hollow and opens to a small field, which would make for a good group camp site.
