Description

Pretty, often steep, trail within the George Washington National Forest west of Harrisonburg. Trail was extensively renovated in 2019 and is maintained by the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. Offers a great workout! The trail starts out fairly level with multiple stream crossings before climbing steeply starting at the two mile mark. Total ascent is almost 2400 feet.
