Description

Start on dirt roads with an climb through a rural area. Later, you'll continue on wide dirt roads for a climb for about 10 kilometers, passing through land dedicated to planting and then some mines before reaching the entrance of the Park Ecological Cacalomacan. Here the run continues through a beautiful forest mostly of pines and oyameles until ending at a heliport with a beautiful view of the Xinantecatl volcano.

It is a round-trip route so the return is exactly the same as the route started on. It is colloquially called "La Placa" because inside the park there is a plaque with the information of the Ecological Park.
