Features Birding · Lake · Views · Wildlife

Open dawn to dusk. No motorized vehicles.

Description

Park in the grassy field at the end of Lake Rhodhiss Drive. Look at the chain-link fence of the waste water plant and start the trail to the left.

Once on the pine-straw-covered trail and gaining altitude, you'll start to see Lake Rhodhiss. Continue the climb (it gets steeper) until you get to the crest. For a nice detour, take a right onto Blue Point Overlook, which is the only trail you'll see. This takes you down to the lake. To stay on the trail, go left at the junction and left at the next trail to get back to your car.

Flora & Fauna

Deer and turkey.
