“This trail goes along the edges of mowed fields in the North Section of the park.”— Charles Behnken
The trail is poorly blazed in part and is not blazed at all in the fields, so run along the edge of the fields as follows: when you enter the field, run counterclockwise keeping the field on your left. On the second side of the field, you'll pass two openings in the trees on your left—take the second one into the more uphill field.
Continue running counterclockwise in this field. On the second side of the field you'll come to another opening in the woods. Continue straight ahead into the third field. Run two sides of this rectangular field. When you come to the corner to make the turn to the third side, there is an opening in the rock wall. If you look carefully you might see the orange blazes in the woods.
Go through the opening and into the woods following the blazes. It will parallel the fields. Near the end of the last field, the orange blazes go towards the field; continue straight (there were orange and white blazes on the tree here). Shortly, you'll come to a fork with trails heading left and straight ahead. This is the White Trail and the end of the Orange Trail.
