Trails are bordered with grass that can be dry and itchy - tall socks suggested for trail running.

Description

The trail begins in the nearby neighborhood and heads into the Sage Hills trail system. It starts at an easy grade with some steep sections climbing up. The trail connects between Balsamroot and Lower Sage.

Flora & Fauna

Look out for rattlesnakes during peak summer months. Mule deer frequent this area, and stay in higher elevations during warmer months. Wildflowers (balasamroot) can be found in spring.
