Description
This rugged dirt trail forms a loop around the northeast border of the forest. The trailhead begins near the Fire Tower. This trail is recommended going counter-clockwise. The first two-thirds of the western loop has much steeper gradients than the eastern side. The western side has fewer grades and is more wooded. This trail is not used as much and can be challenging to follow, especially in fall. A small creek and spring are present where the trail intersects with the creek. A dry falls and an old truck cab (with bullet holes) are located here too. The trail ends with a short but steep climb out of Pees Hollow.
