Great Trail run if you need miles without a lot of obstacles. Mostly flat but the hill at the beginning/end and middle sections will test you.

Within the first .25 mile there is an option for a rather tough doubletrack ascent that could provide an extra sting if you choose. But after that the trail is rather flat for the first 4 miles. In those miles the terrain is open with very little tree cover. Then it is just under two miles of moderate climbing into the Los Vaqueros Watershed and parts of the Morgan Territory Regional Preserve till it ends at the Blue Oak Trail. There is no water (except for horses) so if you're going the out an back 11+ miles be prepared. There is a few picnic tables a few miles in under some nice oak trees. There is also an emergency phone at the Adobe Trail junction in the watershed
