Runner Notes

This flat, even trail is great for trail running.

Description

NC State uses this area for teaching forestry to students, so along the trail you can expect to see multiple information signs related to the particular history of different sections of the forest.

The trail starts from behind the information booth next to the roadside parking. Meander along, eventually crossing and following a stream. Continue along the stream through a pretty beech forest until the trail finishes at the Richland Creek Trail.
