River/Creek · Waterfall
Multiple creek crossings means wet footwear.
This stretch of Snowbird Creek Trail #64 starts at the junction with Snowbird Creek Trail #64 - Lower Section
and Middle Falls Trail #64A
. The trail gradually climbs paralleling Snowbird Creek for 1.5 miles to the junction with Snowbird Creek Trail #64 - Upper Section
This 1.5 mile stretch of Snowbird Creek Trail between the footbridge and Middle Falls crosses the creek 11 times. During periods of high water these creek crossings could become dangerous so use caution and good judgement when running this trail. If needed, these crossings can be avoided by using an alternate route, sometimes called Middle Falls Trail #64A
which climbs a nearby ridge and rejoins Snowbird Creek Trail a few hundred yards upstream of Middle Falls. For detailed information on trails in the Snowbird area, visit uphillhikes.com/category/so…
