“This trail is an easy run with great close-up views of an obsidian flow.”
— Casey Tucker
Do not move, destroy, or take any rocks.
Careful... easy to trip, and if you land on obsidian, you're gonna have a bad day!
This is a short trail that provides a fun look at a massive obsidian flow in Newberry Crater. The tread is comprised of abrasive volcanic glass, so leave your favorite pair of shoes at home and opt for a cheap pair!
Further, dogs should be left at home unless they have rugged booties for their feet.
Flora & Fauna
None... it's just rock.
