“A short ascent with a fun descent back into the valley.
— Brett Errthum
Cross the double culverts, then take a left into the woods. Where the trail splits, stay right to start in on the climb. Part way up, there is a break as the trail travels along a small cliff. After the climbing resumes, the bottom of O.M.T. is passed on the right.
Keep going over a few more slight switchbacks to reach the next intersection. Here, runners can turn right to connect onto O.M.T. or continue left to finish the loop. The descent is made up of multiple curved turns and a number of bike-specific features.
This loop feeds back onto itself near the start.
