Description

This scenic track follows along the shoreline of Rangitoto, connecting from the wharf to McKenzie Bay on the west side of the island. McKenzie Bay is one of Rangitoto's two natural sand beaches, making for a nice picnic or swimming spot. You can also connect to the Summit Road to climb to the top of Rangitoto and return via the Summit Track for a nice loop.
