Description

From the parking area, run the short connector trail and turn left onto the access road. Follow the access road until the trail diverges onto a singletrack. Continue running about 1.5 miles on moderately steep terrain before coming to an intersection with the Bob Kemp Trail; turn right to stay on the Middlesex Trail. The next mile become steep with exposed rock faces and scrambling - at one point there will be a rope for assistance.

Once at the summit of Mount Hunger, there are gorgeous 360-degree views. The northern Green Mountains to the west (including Whiteface, Mansfield and Camel's Hump) and on clear days the Adirondacks can be seen, as well as the Whites to the east.

Retrace your steps (carefully!) to descend or loop around to White Rock Mountain (see featured run).
