Description

To get to this trail from the Metro North Tuxedo Stop, follow the East Village Road east under the over pass for I-87. Then turn left onto Grove Drive. Look for Ramapo Dunderberg (R-D) Trailhead. Take the Tuxedo - Mt. Ivy trail north for a very short distance. The yellow-blazed Triangle Trail will then appear.

Triangle Trail heads north along the bottom of the valley at the bottom of the Black Ash Mountain. When you are at the northern end of the mountain, the trail will turn southeast to join the White Bar trail. You'll run along the White Bar for about a third of a mile and then turn northeast on its own.

You'll cross the Ramapo Dunderberg (R-D) Trail trail again at just under three miles - this is also the trail's high point. The trail then heads south to cross the Victory Trail at Lake Skenonto. This is a nice spot for a break! The trail then heads east to Lake Sebago, offering more views. Finally, the trail heads southwest to meet the White Bar again - where the trail ends.
