This is the forest road section of the race course for the Cactus 2 Cloud 50k trail race.

Description

This trail starts above Dog Canyon Trail (T106), just east of the peak of Joplin Ridge. It curls to the south before meeting the Dog Canyon Trail (T106) and continuing for 2.8 miles. This trail winds through high desert to the junction of West Side Rd and Road Canyon Trail (T234).

West Side Rd runs north-south at the junction while Road Canyon Trail (T234) continues to ascend to the Sunspot Observatory.
