Runner Notes

A really flat, easy run.

Description

There are two access points to the trail, one off the 4730 Frytown Rd. entrance and one next to the parking lot for the fishing ponds off of the 4790 Frytown Rd. entrance. The trail follows a wide mowed path through the prairie, highlighted by the horseshoe-like sculpture in the middle of the prairie. There are many birdhouses throughout the prairie, drawing in many tree swallows to the trail. This route is flat, easy, and a really good way to get some fresh air.

Flora & Fauna

Golden Rod will be a highlight in late spring through summer.
