This is a lively, rocky singletrack that parallels Bandera Creek for the western half of the trail. In a few places, you'll have some moderately technical crossings of the creek and short distances through the often mostly-dry creek bed itself. The rest of the trail is through the cedar scrub found in the creek basins.
