Relatively smooth trails that do encounter some deadfall, exposed roots, and small banks, so mind your footing.
Description
The trail begins and ends directly off the northern section of the
Bob Woodruff Trail. Look for way-finding signage posted directly across the pedestrian bridge over Rowlett Creek. The trail heads west over a few small boardwalks and then turns south right before you reach Spring Creek Parkway.
The trail continues parallel to the neighboring street all the while crossing other smaller connecting trails creating a web of paths through the forest. The trail loops around and turns north once you reach Holifield Science Center. You then continue through the floodplain of Rowlett Creek and rejoin the trail and turn east to return to your starting location. This trail has several orienteering markers that are a part of the course throughout Bob Woodruff Park.
