“Run among the birds above Wapato wetlands on this pipe-made-trail that transverses the park.”
— Emily Roeben
Hours: Open half an hour before sunrise, close half an hour after sunset. No swimming for people or pets due to high levels of toxic algae. For dogs, there are three fully fenced areas for off-leash play, including one just for small dogs.
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Lake — River/Creek — Spring — Views — Wildlife
The pipeline section of this trail may be slippery or ice up faster in the winter. Water fountain available within the park.
Run above the wetlands of Wapato on the north side of the park. A large pipe transverses above the wetlands, with a well-made trail atop. This trail tours the treetops and is an unusual experience, a true delight to find in an urban area.
