“A lightly trafficked trail that connects to the southeast entrance of the park
— Doug Baer
This trail connects the southeast entrance to the County Line Trail
and Spillway Trail
for further access to the rest of the system in this park. The terrain is a mix of rocky and sandy, more like packed desert sand and not not ankle-deep wash/riverbed sand like the wash trails here.
The trail is mostly used by horseback riders and mountain bikers, so keep an eye out for them.
There is a small model airfield nearby, and you can hear and see the planes are being flown on clear days.
