Runner Notes

A good, even trail.

Description

From the Hollow Rock Nature Park parking lot, cross the street for the well-marked and gated trail entrance. There is a large informational sign for Duke Forest. If you keep right at the first intersection, you'll pass under some huge Loblolly Pines along with some big hardwood trees. After half a mile, you meet up with the New Hope Creek North trail. If you want to come back, take a left and close to the road there will be a short trail ( Mrs. Brown's Connector) that cuts up and left to get you back to where you started. If you'd like to continue further, turn right and continue on New Hope Creek North.
