Trail crews did an amazing job cleaning up storm damage. I hiked this trail in it's entirety today... all clear. History

Getting forecast...

A great trail ascent/descent depending on which direction you run with good views and slightly technical footing.

Overview

Description

This trail offers up another way to make loops in Doughton Park and is one of the four climbs/descents. I'd rate it as the second hardest of the four trails, but it is not much worse than Flat Rock Ridge Trail. The trail tops out near the Berringer Cabin at the Mountains to Sea Trail/ Bluff Mountain Trail. There are a couple viewpoints of the trail, and there is a really neat bench cut in a steep cove near the bottom that makes this trail memorable.
