“An easy forest trail that acts as a thoroughfare to the lower mountain.”
— Eric Ashley
The mild grades and even milder tech make La-Z-Boy a fun warm-up or cool-down.
La-Z-Boy gets its name from a discarded recliner that was found during its construction, but the name is also a good measure for this casually winding trail.
From the bottom, the trail descends away from the Entrance Trailhead crosswalk for a third-of-a-mile. The sometimes rocky singletrack heads past lush ferns and mossy trees before turning to climb near the intersection with Cairn
. La-Z-Boy continues winding past trees and even larger stumps as it heads upwards into a beautiful shaded forest.
Near the top, runners will pass Lower Surfer's Way
and High Road
in short order, before passing by Over the Top just before the trail descends to the road across from a kiosk and porta-potty.
