Runner Notes

There are some jagged rocks just after the Multnomah Falls Trail and some loose rocks about half way in.

Description

This is a long trail to a beautiful view of the major Oregon and Washington Mountains. The trail has a steady incline once you get past the Multnomah Falls Trail and is very well laid out and simple to follow. It's not a very crowded trail once you get past Multnomah Falls. You'll run by multiple streams for about half of the run with multiple waterfalls near the beginning. It takes around 4-5 hours to complete so bring plenty of water and food. At the top of Larch Mt. you'll get a clear view of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Jefferson. It is not too difficult of a run and well worth the views!
