Description
This trail starts off from the Lake Treman Trail and is marked with orange markers. After gaining a little bit of elevation, you'll reach a road; take a left here and on the other side of the road you should see orange markers where the road runs into another road. You'll want to continue to follow the orange markers.
Until the next road crossing, you'll pop out into the fields occasionally. When you do, make sure to take in the views, especially during the fall when all the leaves are changing colors. Once you've reached the road, you'll want to take a right and right before the first house on the left, you'll continue on the trail along the green space that follows the power lines.
The rest of the way is all downhill, and once you come to the cider orchard portion of the trail, slow down to enjoy the nice viewpoints. After the cider orchard, you'll reach the Thayer Preserve which connects to the rest of the
Finger Lakes Trail - Segment 17.
