The trails are open to foot traffic from dawn to dusk. Caution: there is some uneven asphalt!
The Tallgrass Trail gradually winds through the prairie. This trail begins with and is connected to the Overlook Trail. Keep your eyes up as you come down the hill, as bison and elk are often visible. The Tallgrass Trail also allows you to make your way along the enclosure's fence line. Be sure to look carefully for wildlife. Benches and resting points are available along the way.
