Runner Notes

The steep grade and rocky terrain makes this a challenging ankle grabber.

Description

The blue-blazed Terrace Pond North Trail climbs steeply up to the secluded Terrace Pond to enjoy views of a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by rock outcroppings. From there, the trail continues a few miles over rolling terrain and a series of descents to Warwick Turnpike. It's not uncommon for runners to simply do an out-and-back to the pond from the parking area off of Clinton Road.

Flora & Fauna

Along with assorted forest environments, runners may see the state endangered red-shouldered hawk along this trail.
