Some Mud: slippery History

Getting forecast...

A run through the gorges in Buttermilk Falls State Park.

Robert Carson

Dogs Leashed

Features River/Creek · Views · Waterfall

The park is usually closed during the winter months.

Description

The first part of the trail is a steep set of steps and trails where you'll gain a majority of your elevation. Once you've reached the stone path, the elevation gains slow down, and the rest of the run up the gorge is much easier. It should be noted though that these stone paths can be slick whenever water is present on them.
