Description

Visitors will enjoy a moderately challenging journey, leading through diverse habitats from the Watershed Center to the northernmost point in the Watershed Reserve. Along the way, visitors will traverse a pond, a stream, meadows, and a deciduous and coniferous forest, and can see firsthand a large stand of conifers that were blown down by Super Storm Sandy.

Before coming to an end, the northern terminus of the trail will climb through a boulder strewn 150 feet to the Mount Rose Ridge, before descending on gentler trail to the Bedens Brook Watershed. The northern end of the trail extends near Hopewell Borough.

Those who desire a longer journey can return to the parking area, and extend this trail for an extra 1.2 miles (round trip) by taking a southern spur to the Stony Brook.
