Runner Notes

This steep scramble will be a challenge for runners, where the risk of a turned ankle might outweigh the benefits.

Description

This singletrack is extremely challenging. It's 90% rock scramble on loose rock, through steep narrow passage ways. The track can be difficult to follow as there are many points where the trail just disappears. The view on the ridge is awesome, but not sure if it's "worth it." I would suggest reaching your views from the Upper Cabin Trail instead.

Very overgrown, difficult to follow at times, and often not very runnable. Interesting route, though in hindsight I might prefer going up this way 9mi — 3h 00m

Challenging routefinding and several 4th and even 5th class sections. Great views and adventurous bushwhacking, if that's your thing 1mi
