Trail shared by Ben Coats

A short and narrow loop trail leading through tall grass very close to Lake Boren.

Features Lake · Views

Runner Notes

Not suitable for trail running due to the tall grass.

Description

This short, narrow trail leads runners through tall grass behind an apartment complex. There is a very beautiful view of Lake Boren alongside. Unfortunately, the gazebo near the south trailhead is only open to residents of the apartment complex, which is disappointing as the views are lovely. Be aware that the trail is somewhat unkept; barely more than a dog trail in some places due to its narrow width and encroaching tall grass.

While not a destination trail unless you live in the immediate vicinity, this route is a nice addition if you're already running on the Water Line Trail.

Flora & Fauna

The trail is through tall grass.
