Description

The Bearberry Bluff Trail is one of the new sustainable singletrack trails in Greenbelt Central part of Matanuska Greenbelt. This trail was well engineered, and drains water well during/after heavy rainfall. Like many trails in the forested area, views are somewhat minimal, but they are nice forested trails. You'll be shaded along the whole route, and the minimal elevation change makes this a relaxing route.

Flora & Fauna

Birch trees with some spruce, typical shrub understories.
