Description

This short trail goes from the bridge over McDonald Creek and follows it downstream through the woods. It's a nice level trail that leads to an overlook at a fantastic bend in the creek.

This trail can be paired with the Apgar Bike Trail for a nice loop.

Flora & Fauna

Forest plants and flowers such as arnica and forget-me-nots. Combination of forest and creek make great small birds such as chickadees and warblers. Various waterfowl can be seen on creek. Deer frequent the area.
