Cave — River/Creek — Spring — Wildflowers
Great for trail running
Beginning of the trail has been renovated. Nice gravel path. Not sure how far they'll go with this, but right now it goes about 1/2 mile. Trail obviously has horse traffic, but the mud 2 days after rain was navigatable. Mud is only bad in short areas. Trail is very clearly blazed. Impossible to get lost. This trail begins growing poison ivy around early april. I expect it will be fully covered in summer. 2 caves found along trail (entry prohibited) around halfway between campsite and southern trailhead. Awesome late fall - early spring trail on foot.
Deer, Turkey, many wildflowers, squirrel
