A nice multi-use loop that totals almost exactly 5 miles if run by itself.
Access this trail via the Maple Springs Trail
from the Maple Springs Trailhead. The Big Hollow Trailhead is located directly across the road from where the Maple Springs Trail
ends. After completing the first tenth of a mile, you can choose to run this trail in either direction. Regardless of which direction you choose, you'll enjoy undulating terrain through hardwood forest until you reach the Connector Trail
which leads to Big Hollow Trail South Loop
The North Loop totals about 4.4 miles and is all singletrack with some easy to moderate ascents.
