“Take this steep trail to hit the tallest point on the island!”
— Jon Eichner
Features: Birding — Views
Very steep, loose, and rocky terrain might not make for the most pleasant running experience.
This trail leads from Little Lameshur and starts up a dirt road. Once at the top of the road, there is a historic grave site right next to where the trail officially starts.
The run up to the summit is very steep and rocky, and not recommended for beginner runners. There are several views along the way which make good spots to stop and catch your breath. Although there is no viewpoint at the top of the trail, you can say you went to the highest peak of Saint John. The trail will end somewhat unceremoniously at the side of the Bordeaux Road.
