To access this trail, park at the Mathews Arm Campground lot past the entrance station and continue southwest down Knob Mountain Rd toward the sanitation facility. Look for the Knob Mtn Spur
off the end loop of Knob Mountain Rd. Continue on this spur trail as it bends to the southwest, looking for the right hand turn onto the Heiskell Hollow Trail.
Additionally, this trail can also be accessed from the Weddlewood Trail
, which connects down from the Mathews Arm Trail
Heiskell Hollow Trail ends at Heiskell Hollow at Chrisman Road outside the park boundary. Please stay on the trail and respect private property once outside the park boundary.
