There are a couple of offshoots that have no trespassing signs. Please respect signs and these properties.
Footing does require care at times.
The Baptiste Trail is part of a loop with the Wapiti Trail (#816)
and North Sourdough (#835)
trail. Wapiti Trail (#816)
turns into the Baptiste Trail at a large sign. Continue east and then south on the Baptiste Trail, which has mostly good footing. The pine canopy is really nice, and it is sure to be quiet out there. The Baptiste Trail blends without much signage into the North Sourdough (#835)
trail as you continue to run the loop.
Flora & Fauna
Almost exclusively, you will run under a canopy of tall pines.
