Footing is quite good for most of the trail. The short but steeper uphill/downhill sections require attention to footing

Parking is available on Magnolia Road, about 2 miles east of the Peak to Peak.

The trail itself is very enjoyable that will put any runner in a quiet setting. Several rock outcroppings afford opportunities to see alpine areas and provide views of the Indian Peaks.

A couple smaller meadow areas will have birds singing. There are a couple of rough, unmarked trails leading both north and south from this, have fun and explore.

Ultimately, this leads to the Yellow/Red Dot Loop making this part of a longer lollipop loop.

Mostly pine forest with some meadows and aspen mixed in
