“A Classic Wayne National Forest trail with views of the Ohio River.”— Michaela Schoeffler
The Scenic River Trail begins close to the Ohio River and then climbs steep switchbacks for about a quarter mile to overlook the river. It is best seen during the colder months when fewer leaves are on the trees to obstruct the views. It continues rolling through the hills, passing by rock formations and through quiet forests.
