Description

Take a short detour to a small seasonal waterfall. The Lime Falls Trail begins at a junction with the Cactus Forest Trail. As you start your journey on Lime Falls Trail, you'll notice a small hill ahead of you. Limestone from this hill was brought down and used in the nearby kilns. Continuing past the hills, the trail gets rockier as you get closer to the season falls. There is also an increase of vegetation in the area. This is a nice diversion, as it offers more biodiversity due to a greater potential of water in the area. Due to some of the steep rock outcroppings in the area around the falls, this is a nice area to take a break since you can usually find a shady spot.
