Description

The Feldtmann Lake Trail stretches from the Siskiwit Bay Campground and overnight dock to the Feldtmann Lake Trail and Feldtmann Lake Campground. The first 3.5 miles are relatively easy, with no major climbs or descents. After this, runners will be faced with one major climb up to the ridge. This climb is steady but you'll be rewarded with some nice views once you reach the top. Additionally, there is a lookout tower where you can enjoy some more impressive views.

After you reach the top, you'll enjoy a descent back off the ridge for the second half of the trail. There is one steep descent where you'll want to watch your footing as you leave the ridge and head down to Feldtmann Lake. The trail ends at the junction with the Feldtmann Lake Trail and Rainbow Cove Trail where you can head to the Feldtmann Lake Campground to set up camp for the night.
